Changing dangles earrings

The best part of these simple hoop earrings is is that with large enough wrapped loops, you can create a wardrobe of earrings with the same basic finding. This project is a great way to use up some pretty bits that you have in your bead stash. Two easy steps can create a myriad of looks, once you master the basic wrapped loop!

  • pair of hinged hoop earrings
  • 2 15 mm round Venetian-glass bead
  • 4 4 mm bicone crystals
  • 4 4-6 mm bead caps
  • 2 2-in. (5 cm) head pins
  • chainnose and roundnose pliers
  • diagonal wire cutters
