Celestial raku beads bracelet

Top-drilled raku beads give this bracelet a relaxed, wavy feel.

Seed beads and flat spacers don’t overpower the raku and a winged clasp echoes the sky theme. Choose seed beads that bring out the highlights in the raku.

  • 16–20 12 mm round flat spacers
  • 16–20 6/0 seed beads

  • flexible beading wire,.014 or.015
  • 2 crimp beads
  • shibuichi toggle clasp
  • chainnose or crimping pliers
  • diagonal wire cutters

Celestial raku beads earrings
I used the surprisingly lightweight raku beads for one set of earrings, and created the look of little wind chimes with the silver spacers for the other pair.
