Lovely elastic Step 1
1. Cut a 16-in. (41 cm) piece of ribbon elastic. Thread a needle on the elastic or cut a 3-in. (7.6 cm) piece of beading wire and fold it in half, looping the elastic through the fold. String 6 in. (15 cm) of 3 mm beads.

2. Tie a surgeon’s knot. Apply glue to the knot and trim the excess elastic.
Lovely elastic Step 3
3. Cut a 10-in. (25 cm) piece of beading wire. String a bead cap, a 15 mm bead, a bead cap, and a 3 mm. Repeat, alternating colors, until the strand is half the length of your finished bracelet.
Lovely elastic Step 4
4. On each end, string a 3 mm, a crimp bead, a Wire Guardian, and the beaded elastic. Check the fit, and add or remove beads if necessary. Go back through the last few beads strung, tighten the wire, and crimp the crimp bead. Trim the excess wire.
Use the outer notch of your crimping pliers to close a crimp cover over each crimp.
