Learn new beading skills at the 2018 Bead&Button Show

We're excited to highlight some brand-new classes that we can't wait to check out at our own Bead&Button Show, the largest consumer bead show event in the world. The Show takes place at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, WI, June 3-10, 2018. There will be hundreds of classes teaching every kind of jewelry-making technique — come explore and see what you'd like to learn!
Martins Snap Swap
Snap ‘N Swap Elegant Necklace: Wear It While You Make It!

Create a versatile necklace offering multipurpose functionality from casual to classy elegance. Design your own piece for any occasion unfolding a different look simply by changing color and texture with Snap ‘N Swap components. This one-of-a-kind necklace uses the concept of shuffling, interchanging, and reconfiguring the removable disks and components snapped onto the original frame resulting in the creation of an elaborate jewelry piece with endless design possibilities.

Carla Martins will teach bead weaving techniques including embellished circular peyote stitch and bezeling of stones. Snap fixtures are used on each component enabling easy and quick assembly. A built-on adjustable clasp is incorporated in the design.

Pinnacle combines large Czech fire-polished beads and an array of single and two-hole beads to create a substantial 1-in. bracelet that is open and airy.

Cary Borelli will walk her students through right-angle weave and netting techniques.

Ever get up in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep? This design came alive for Shannon Jambard during just one of those moments. Use a variety of products to make this stunning cuff bracelet. You will be surprised at just how easy it is to make with a new stitching technique.

Students will learn a needle and thread stitching technique that is off-loom which looks like a loomed bracelet without all the complications and worries of a traditional loomed bracelet.
