The Bead&Button 25th Anniversary Bead

Clasmeyer 25th Anniv

Drum roll, please! It’s time to unveil the special two-in-one bead we’ve commissioned for Bead&Button magazine's 25th anniversary! Why two-in-one? Because it’s both a bead and a clasp, offering countless possibilities for your jewelry projects.

The unique design should be no surprise to anyone familiar with the artist who created it: Carl Clasmeyer, who’s known for his intricately imagined beads, clasps and pendants.

Made of sterling silver, our bead-clasp showcases Clasmeyer’s gift for combining function and charm. Swirling vines create a pretty pattern and become loops to catch your thread.

You can make it a focal, use it like a charm, or twist it gently to work as a clasp. And don’t forget to look for the subtle 25th Anniversary logo embedded in the vines.

Clasmeyer has often credited Bead&Button magazine for bringing attention to his distinctive silver clasps, so we’re especially thrilled that he’s helping us celebrate our silver anniversary. He put his heart into this project, consulting with our staff and making many refinements to design something truly versatile.

The Bead&Button 25th Anniversary Bead-Clasp is available only through our online store, and quantities are limited.

You can attach it as a clasp through two cleverly positioned slots on each end that can be used for stitching, stringing, or wire. Or use it as a bead by stitching, stringing, or wire-wrapping through a channel that runs through the center. It can work as a pendant, too!

We can’t wait to see what you create with it.
