B&B Extra download tips

B&B Extra is a free online exclusive for Bead&Button magazine subscribers. 

Here are some tips for downloading the B&B Extra. Click on the images to enlarge.

When you open B&B Extra, you will see this screen if it is your first time to visit or if have been away from the website for a while.

If this is the first time visiting, please click on the REGISTER NOW button and enter either your account number or email address. If you are a subscriber to the digital edition of Bead&Button, you can access the B&B Extra using the access code found on the table of contents of your digital issue when registering.

If you have already registered please click the LOGIN button. You will be taken to a new screen. Enter your email address and password. Click Login.

Sign in

  • Are you unable to sign in or do you get a message saying your email address or password is incorrect? If you have recently changed your email address, please contact our Customer Service at 800-533-6644 or and let them know your new email address. The address you use must match the address in our database. 


  • Please remember the password is case sensitive. If you have tried to reset your password and you are still getting the message saying your password is incorrect, contact our Customer Service and they will help you reset your password.
After logging in, do you see the "Download & Print this PDF" button under the cover image? You may have to scroll down.
After clicking on the "Download & Print this PDF" button, depending on which internet browser you are using, you may see this message.
The B&B Extra file can be large. If you choose Open with Adobe Reader (default), please make sure you have the latest version of Adobe Reader
If you use Firefox and leave Save File checked,  the PDF will open from a Downloads box.
If you use Safari and leave the Save File checked, the PDF will open from a Download folder.
If you use Google Chrome and leave Save File checked, the PDF will open from the Download folder at the bottom of the screen.
If you use Internet Explorer and leave Save File checked,  you will get a message at the bottom of the screen.
If you are using a browser not mentioned above and the PDF does not open when you click on Download & Print this PDF, please check the Download folder. The Download folder is usually identified by an arrow pointing down in the tool bar at the top of the page.
