Show off your work in Bead&Button magazine!

Share your talent with the beading world

Do you design your own beadwork patterns and beaded jewelry? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

Bead&Button is always on the lookout for original designs to showcase in the magazine and in our digital supplement, B&B Extra. We accept a broad range of bead-stitching techniques and projects, and we compensate designers for accepted submissions.

Why submit? Because it’s a boost to your beading career! Having an original design published in Bead&Button raises your profile as a beading artist. Because we carefully curate all designs, it’s a stamp of approval for your work. Your published design can include a link to your website, and will be promoted broadly to our print and online audiences.

How do you submit? It’s easy! Just send us a photo of your original finished piece along with a detailed description about the techniques, stitches, and materials you used. Your submission will be reviewed by the editors. We make every effort to reply within two weeks.

For complete instructions about the submission process, including an FAQ with tips for success, check out this brand-new downloadable PDF. We’ve just updated this information, so if you’re a returning designer you’ll want to make sure you see the latest.

Don’t want to take our word for it? Listen to some bead artists whose work has been published by Bead&Button:

Adrienne Gaskell, kumihimo artist, instructor and columnist

“The exposure I get from having one of my jewelry projects in Bead&Button magazine is worth far more than what I get paid. My background is in advertising and marketing, and I think of it as a free full-page ad. I can always tell when the magazine hits subscribers’ mailboxes, as I get a huge increase in web orders.”

“It’s not only fun to see your work in print, but it’s a huge benefit for artists looking to expand their reach and exposure. The one- to three-page, full-color spread in an internationally respected magazine plus the online exposure is WELL worth your time. And you get paid!”
