October 2019 Issue Survey Results

Here are some of the questions and comments readers shared about the October 2019 issue and our responses.

I hoped to see more of the BeadDreams finalists featured and was disappointed they were not in the issue.

We're bummed we couldn't fit them all in the October issue, too. But you will find a gallery that features all of the finalists on the FacetJewelry website with a downloadable PDF. Are you interested in entering the competition in 2020? Visit BeadandButtonShow.com for BeadDreams and Metal Jewelry Artistry Awards rules, eligibility, and applications. The deadline to enter is April 6, 2020.

(Psst: We hope to print all of the 2020 winners in the next October Bead&Button issue!)

A fantastic issue with many easy to bead designs.

In each issue, we try hard to balance skill levels, types of projects, and materials used. It's hard to please everyone, but we try. Thanks for letting us know we're doing a good job of that!

If you have a design that you think would be a good fit for the magazine, we'd love to see it. Send us photos of your work. Click on Contributor Submissions. It usually takes us a couple of weeks to go through new proposals. Watch for an email from us, if you submit a project.

I love the projects, but I don't have a bead store near me. Help!

Love, love, love ornaments!!

We do too! We were happy to hear that many readers enjoyed  Deb Moffett-Hall's "Snowflake treasures ornament" in Bead&Button's 25th anniversary issue. Check out all our great ornaments here. Remember, stock up on ornament balls now before the Valentine's Day decorations hit the store shelves.
