Grape stretch bracelet and earrings

Mix beads of contrasting colors, or choose a purple palette for a quick and easy project

Glass beads and no clasp make for a reasonably priced piece. You'll want to make more than one!

SUPPLIES

  • 8-in. (20 cm) strand 9 mm drop beads or briolettes
  • 8 mm large-hole accent bead
  • ribbon elastic
  • G-S Hypo Cement
  • scissors

1. Cut a 24-in. (61 cm) piece of ribbon elastic. Fold the elastic in half. Over both ends, string drops until the bracelet is the finished length.

2. String a large-hole bead. Tie an overhand knot. Trim the ends and glue the knot.

Tip!
Fold a piece of beading wire in half to make a needle. String the elastic through the wire and pull the wire ends through the beads.

Earring options

Cluster drops on three jump rings to look like a bunch of grapes, or string them on an extra-long piece of wire.
