Four featured beading classes at the show

We're excited to highlight some brand-new classes that we can't wait to check out at our own Bead&Button Show, the largest consumer bead show event in the world. The Show takes place at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, WI, June 4-11, 2017. There will be hundreds of classes teaching every kind of jewelry-making technique — come explore and see what you'd like to learn!

Four Times the Fun

Shape clever components using four-hole tile beads to create a bracelet that is a real statement piece. The components can easily be used in many other jewelry designs. Anna Elizabeth Draeger will teach students how to stitch up two shaped components and connect them using right-angle weave. The components are made using a simple stringing technique that will appeal to beaders of any skill level.

There’s History in This Cuff

Create a raised beaded cuff bracelet featuring an older traditional Woodlands Native design using seed beads to create an intricate-looking piece. Naomi Smith will teach students how to use deer hide to create a fabulous and refined cuff closure.

Treasure is found in the sparkle and brilliant colors of the crystals, and the elegance of the pearls in the medallions created for this opulent necklace. The large bib-style focal is suspended from a crystal and pearl chain. Kathy Luli will teach students how to bezel and embellish the various sizes of crystals and pearls; how to combine components into the necklace.
