Spooky Spider

Spooky Spider pattern
Pattern

The symbol of the spider has many ancient and interesting meanings. The shape of the body plus its eight legs and eyes make the spider a symbol of infinity. Legends tell of spiders teaching early people how to weave.

You can work this piece in either square stitch or on a loom. Put the finished piece in a frame for a spooky Halloween decoration, or make two pieces and sew them back-to-back to create an amulet.
