With Halloween on the horizon, I wanted to get into the spooky spirit, but there were already plenty of witches, black cats, and pumpkins around. I thought Mary Shelley’s monster would make a fun and challenging peyote pattern. I graph my patterns by hand after I draw the design in black and white. Once the outline was graphed, the orange and green palette made the design pop.
