Right-angle weave: Adding rows

Step 1: After you’ve made a strip of right-angle weave (which will be row 1), sew through the last stitch of row 1, exiting an edge bead along one side (Figure 1).

Step 2: Pick up three beads, and sew through the edge bead your thread exited in step 1 (Figure 2, a–b) and the first new bead (Figure 2, b–c).

Step 3: Pick up two beads, and sew back through the next edge bead in the previous row and the bead your thread exited at the start of this step (Figure 3, a–b). Continue through the two new beads and the following edge bead in the previous row (Figure 3, b–c).

Step 4: Pick up two beads, and sew through the last two beads your thread exited in the previous stitch and the first new bead (Figure 4).

Step 5: Work as in steps 3 and 4 for the rest of the row. Add more rows as desired.
